Pausing for a while
Dear Amazing Subscribers,
First, let me say how incredibly grateful I am for your support. Whether you’ve been with me since the beginning or joined recently, your trust in my work has meant the world to me. Writing this newsletter has been a journey filled with learning, creativity, and connection—and you’ve been a vital part of that.
As some of you may have noticed, I’ve been stepping back from writing about email copywriting as I pour more time and energy into growing a new business. It’s an exciting chapter for me. It’s also one that requires my full attention right now.
Because I believe in giving 100% to everything I do, I’ve decided to pause your paid subscription until I can commit to writing consistently again. This isn’t a goodbye forever—it’s a heartfelt pause to focus on scaling this new venture and ensuring it thrives.
The new business combines email, community, and a physical product to create something profitable and special. It’s already exceeded my expectations. I’m looking forward to see what happens in 2025.
Email has been my trusted companion in business since 2008. It’s seen me through life’s highs and lows including the challenges of a recession, the uncertainty of a pandemic, and all the in-betweens. Because of email, I’ve been able to:
Pay off our home mortgage 15 years early.
Cover out-of-pocket health expenses.
Pay cash for vehicles.
Contribute time and resources to causes close to my heart.
Enjoy life’s simple joys from road trips to live theater.
I don’t often share behind-the-scenes numbers because I value my privacy. I do want you to know this:
the power of email is real, and it is life-changing.
For me, it’s been about creating a life rich in simple pleasures, meaningful connections, and financial freedom. I do hope my newsletter has inspired you in some way to do the same.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of this adventure. I hope when the time comes to revive this newsletter, I’ll have the privilege of welcoming you back. Until then, I’m cheering you on in all that you do.
With gratitude and warm wishes,
Charlene Burke
