You know how important it is to include a screenshot of successes, right?
Make a claim like this
"Yesterday's book launch brought in 287 sales for a total of $57,629!"
And you better have a screenshot or no one will believe you.
The same is true about claims you make for credibility.
For example:
I hold the top spots in Google for the most competitive keywords in some of the most cutthroat markets. Go ahead and search the following words in Google to see for yourself that I know what I’m talking about…
now list the keywords for them to search.
But you don’t have to believe me. Instead, search for my name in Google. There you’ll see my entire 10 year, rock-solid history of putting out best sellers. You’ll see that I’ve worked with some of the top people in the business, including…
now list the names of some of the people they should see associated with you.
Click here to see the current New York Times bestseller list and you’ll see my book near the top of the list…make sure the link goes to a trusted source for bestseller lists.
Show them why they should listen to you.
See how easy this is to do?
I wish more people saw how easy this is. Because I get a lot of email from coaches, consultants, experts in numerous fields of science and bio-science and technology. And many do not include elements of proof - and I mean any element of proof - with their statements.
So you know what happens when I read their email? The eyebrow raises and I say "yeah, right" because I really don't believe them. Then I delete the email.
Do you do this, too?
Now, your mission is to review your past email copy and look for those claims you made about your successes or abilities or skills.
Did you show the proof?
Can you show the proof?
Can you show it with a screenshot or a link?
If so, make note to do that when you send that email again.
Okay - that’s all for now.
