The Bad Thing Email

Yes, this is another template. I hope you're not getting tired of them! If so, let me know. So far I’ve shared 10 that I know will help you see a lift in your engagement and get you sales. And I do have at least 2 more I'll be sharing. Then I'll start talking about how to use preview text and copy you can use to start your email.

So, this email template is good as a single promotion email or as part of a series. You could start with a basic announcement, introducing the offer. Followed by this one to expand on "why" they want to buy the offer, finishing up with an email that offers the final big benefit statement and opportunity to purchase.

And, this template is so easy to tweak to be in your brand voice - soft? quirky? formal? have your own well-known phrases? I've used it as a framework for many of my own offers and a few of my clients'.

Have an offer you've been selling? Use this and see if your list responds. No guarantees, of course, but it's always good to change things up with your list and measure the results. Sometimes you get the pleasant surprise of a lift in sales.
